One of the biggest surprises of the 2018 off-season was seeing all-star center DeMarcus Cousins signing with the Warriors. Not only was Cousins one of the most talented big men available, Cousins a four-time NBA all-star and two-time All-NBA second team is one of the best centers in the entire NBA.
Adding Cousins to a Warriors team that won the previous two championships and can also boast having four All-Stars in their lineup was a shocker to most NBA fans.
But the caveat is Cousins suffered a devastating Achilles injury in 2017 that very much is career in jeopardy. After surgery and a lengthy recovery Cousins has returned with the Warriors this season to look like he’s still a very talented and gifted basketball player. In just 30 games this season, Cousins has put up an impressive stat line of : 16.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game in only 25.7 minutes per contest
Cousins has no doubt shown he can still ball after such a horrible injury but there is still questions on will be help the Warriors win the third straight chip or hinder the Warriors from winning yet another championship banner.
