The Toronto Raptors are flush with talented and defensive-minded wings, but Danny Green did a ton of damage in the regular season on less than eight shot attempts per game. His advanced stats are crazy good and his defensive versatility is still very strong.
Out of timeout plays will be drawn up for him, or he will serve as a decoy for crucial plays to develop. The one time record holder for 3’s made in an NBA Finals series will be tasked with defending and shooting at a high level, and against the best teams in the East.
Danny Green often gets overlooked, and has for the better-part of his career, but he’s proven to be a valuable component to any team he’s been on.
