And then we get to possibly the least likely of the scenarios, but possibly the most fun one – and the most conspiracy-filled one. Picture this, the Warriors win their third-straight NBA Championship and four out of the last five years.

Durant, tired of the memes and not getting the respectable amount of credit that he thought he’d get after winning three-straight championships. So, he comes to the conclusion that the only way he can get to that point is to take down the monster that helped build.

And what better place to do it than staying on the West Coast and with one of the most storied franchises in NBA history (along with arguably the second-best player of all-time, who is on the backend of his prime).

Durant decides that he wants to join forces with LeBron James in an attempt to take down the smooth-shooting, pretty boy Stephen Curry. The Lakers, against all odds, finally get their second superstar and LeBron James wins his fourth NBA Title.
