Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards (under contract)

Bradley Beal is a name that emerged at the NBA Trade Deadline, but ultimately the Washington Wizards elected against moving arguably their best player on the roster. However, every other move they made at the trade deadline (including moving Otto Porter Jr. for essentially expiring contracts) suggests that this team might be pivoting to a rebuild.

Not to mention that they fired Team President Ernie Grunfeld as the season was coming to a close. With John Wall‘s trade market essentially non-existent, in large part due to his injury that will likely keep him out until the middle of the 2019-20 season (if that), it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see the Wizards test the market on Beal.

Beal, 25, is entering his prime and his trade value might not be higher than it is right now. He’s coming off a season in which 26 points, six assists and five rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range. He’s also a perfect fit next to LeBron and a perfect fit on the current Lakers.

He can play effectively off-the-ball, and can score as the offensive initiator at the same time. Beal would likely be one of the most costly players on this list, but at age 25 he could also be one of the stars most worth it.
