Los Angeles Lakers: 11 realistic stars to target heading into the summer
Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks (player-option)
The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the biggest success stories this season, and a big reason why they’ve made a big jump in the Eastern Conference is due to the emergence of not only Giannis Antetokounmpo, but also Khris Middleton.
En route to his first all-star appearance this year, Middleton averaged 18 points, six rebounds and four assists on 38 percent shooting from 3-point range this season. He’s an ideal second-tier star to add next to LeBron James and Lonzo Ball, and has proven time and time again that he doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be an effective player on both ends of the floor.
Middleton is one of the league’s most underrated players, but bursted onto the scene this season with the surging Bucks. It would be largely surprising to see him leave the Bucks this summer, as they appear to be building something special, but the bright lights of Los Angeles could be too bright to decline.
