Roughly one week through the 2019 NBA Playoffs, here are the 10 biggest takeaways from both the Eastern and Western Conference

The 2019 NBA Playoffs is just a week old, and we’ve already begun to see a number of interesting storylines take center stage in the basketball world. Off the cusp, we’ve seen impressive performances from the likes of James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving and have come to know the name Derrick White.

With that said, the playoffs are just getting started and off the ground. There is still a lot of playoff basketball to be played before we crown a new – or, perhaps, the same old champion – at the end of the season.

After seven days of the most meaningful basketball we’ve seen this season, there are certain takeaways that we can begin to develop. Before we get to the second-round of the playoffs, let’s take a look at 10 takeaways from the first week of the post-season where the true contenders and pretenders are beginning to separate themselves.
