His size, ball handling and lightning quick release make him one of the best pull-up shooters around, from mid-range or 3. Also the threat of his perimeter game, coupled with his deceptive and explosive athleticism, he can get to the rim and finish or draw fouls at an extremely high rate.
3. CJ McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers
He’s not all that big, or speedy, or athletic, yet he still gets to his spots at will and can seemingly create quality shots for himself with the toughest of defence being played on him. He has a nasty hesitation crossover and other dribble moves he uses to get into the paint or to create space for his deadeye jumper.
He’s a marksman from the outside but has also mastered the floater in the lane which is an invaluable shot to have when you’re a little undersized and lack the athleticism to consistently power through and finish over defenders.
