Set in the backcourt with Jarrett Culver (who they added earlier in the first round) and Collin Sexton, the Cavs will have the luxury of adding to their frontcourt with the 26th pick in the NBA Draft.
While there’s a number of different options for Cleveland at this point in the draft, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mfiondu Kabengele was the pick. Kabengele, out of Florida State, is an interesting prospect whose best days as a basketball player could very well still be in front of him.
In his sophomore season at FSU, Kabengele averaged 15 points, six rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game 50 percent shooting from the floor and 37 percent from 3-point range. Kabengele is raw and would likely be a play a few years down the road, but is a good risk to take late in the first round.
