Jontay Porter is another one of those prospects that had he been healthy, he’d be taken a lot higher than being the final pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. Nevertheless, everyone else’s loss is the Milwaukee Bucks‘ gain.

Porter is a prospect that is somewhat of an unknown considering that he didn’t play at all this season but could be a pick that pays dividends for a team’s patience. And what better team to play that game than one that seems ready to compete on the highest level?

The Bucks get richer here, and it’s easy to see why they’d take a chance on a player like Porter.

During his freshman season, before his injury, he averaged 10 points and seven rebounds on 36 percent from 3-point range. In a quickly changing NBA, there’s no question that Porter fits the mold of a potential rotation player.
