Eastern Conference: Can the Bucks actually pull this off?

The Milwaukee Bucks are an anomaly in the third round. Unlike every other team in the Conference Finals, the Bucks don’t have two clear stars. Bledsoe, Hill, Middleton, Brogdon, and Lopez are all great players for this Milwaukee team, but none are bona fide stars like Curry, Thompson, Lillard, or Leonard. An argument could be made for the Raptors, but then again, Kyle Lowery is much better than people give him credit for.

Really, the question is, how did they get here? Sure, the Pistons were never going to put up too much of a threat, but the Celtics? Practically the same Celtics who took LeBron to seven games last year, and just about pulled off one of the greatest upsets in the modern league?

That, combined with their No. 1 overall ranking seem absurd for a team like that. Mind you, that number one ranking is in the league, not just the Eastern Conference. They beat the Warriors, a team with an All-Star in every spot on their starting lineup!

With all the star power of the other teams, and the seeming lack of it from the Bucks, it’s going to be interesting to see if they can pull off another seemingly impossible feat, and head to the finals.

Speaking of which…
