Who’s Moving On?

Really, this question could be asked after every round, but now seems like the best time to ask it. Looking on the West’s side, there hasn’t been a major upset yet, which seems to always happen during the postseason.

Then again, the Warriors aren’t exactly in the position to be upset, and they did have a shorter series last round than the Blazers did. Still, resolve, will, and determination can get you a lot of places, and Lillard isn’t exactly the kind of guy to run from a challenge.

On the side of the East, the Raptors have been on a roll lately, and are coming off of a momentum and confidence booster of a win in their Game 7 matchup against the impressive Sixers. With that comes the above mentioned lack of depth on the Bucks. But that hasn’t seemed to slow Milwaukee down one bit. In fact, they seem to thrive on being the underdog. There’s a chance the Bucks are more rested too, having only played nine games in the long postseason compared to the Raptors 12, and a game seven can really take it out of a team.

Either way, the rest of this postseason looks to be stellar, and the offseason promises to provide a lot of twists and turns, as well as a few surprises. What a good time to be an NBA fan.
