By Kyle Crabbe
Bol Bol, C, Oregon
HT: 7-foot-3 (7-foot-7 wingspan)
WT: 230 lbs
Strengths: Elite shot blocker, long-range shooter, offensive versatility, defensive potential
Pro Comparisons: Kristaps Porzingis, Kevin Garnett
Best Team Fit: Washington Wizards
The son of former NBA player Manute Bol, Bol Bol has the potential to be the best player in the 2019 NBA Draft. With that said, Bol’s extreme size also gives him the potential to have injury problems throughout his career similar to that of Yao Ming. But like Ming, Bol is an extremely skilled big man that is as close as a player can be to Kristaps Porzingis.
Bol would be a great fit for the Washington Wizards as they recover from injuries to John Wall and Dwight Howard. Howard can serve as an excellent mentor for Bol and Bol could become the missing piece that truly makes the Wall-Beal tandem as elite as any in the Eastern Conference.
Bol could stretch and spread the floor for Wall to operate at his best and Bol could allow the floor space for Bradley Beal to continue to score at a high rate in Washington. On the defensive side, Bol has the potential to dominate and helped the Wizards also become an elite defensive team.
