NBA Draft: Best team fit for each of the top 10 prospects
By Kyle Crabbe
Cam Reddish, F, Duke
HT: 6-foot-7 (7-foot-1 wingspan)
WT: 205 lbs
Strengths: Offensive versatility, excellent long-range shooter, supreme size for position, versatile defender
Pro Comparisons: DerMarr Johnson, Joe Johnson
Best Team Fit: Memphis Grizzlies
Cam Reddish has been often overlooked this past year playing with stars such as Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett, but make no mistake about it Reddish is one of the best prospects in the entire 2019 class.
Reddish has great size for the guard/forward position and at the next level can become an ultimate mismatch and offensive weapon in the 3-point happy era.
Reddish’s length, size, shooting touch and range, and ability to be very versatile on both ends of the basketball court make him a great fit for virtually all teams in the modern NBA. However, where Reddish can possibly become an All-Star in a few years would be if the Memphis Grizzlies draft him.
Pairing Cam Reddish with Jaren Jackson Jr. and a playmaking points guard like Mike Conley (if he isn’t traded) makes Reddish a deadly offensive option. Reddish would be an excellent fit in Memphis where the lights aren’t too bright and allow his Joe Johnson style game to grind and develop to flourish in the NBA.
