NBA Draft: Best team fit for each of the top 10 prospects
By Kyle Crabbe
Coby White, G, Duke
HT: 6-foot-4 (6-foot-5 wingspan)
WT: 185 Lbs
Strengths: Big-time scorer, a great shooter, shot maker, excellent size for his position
Pro Comparisons: Gilbert Arenas, Mo Williams
Best Team Fit: Chicago Bulls
Cody White is as best described “a walking bucket”. Similar to stars in the NBA like Damian Lillard and Lou Williams, White has a great talent for putting points up on the board. White is a great shooter with great range and, due to his size, generally has the advantage of usually being bigger than his primary defenders.
White can become an asset for any team in the modern day NBA just from his shooting ability alone. White, depending on the franchise he goes to, could become the next Jamal Murray or a bigger version of peak Patty Mills.
The best team fit in the lottery for White is with the Chicago Bulls. White could be the last piece to complete the young core of the Bulls, alongside Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, and Wendell Carter Jr.
