Phoenix Suns: 5 offseason moves to expedite the rebuild

Acquire a veteran anchor
The next move the Suns would need to make to take a big step forward is to acquire a veteran anchor.
Every championship team needs to be a good, if not a great, defensive team, and every great defensive team need a defensive anchor to take care of the dirty work and make sure the team is always well positioned. That player has to be a team leader and a solid veteran.
For this team, the perfect player to get would be free agent Robin Lopez. Lopez would become the perfect frontcourt partner for Karl-Anthony Towns.
Lopez could also be the voice on the floor for Monty Williams. Lopez could be a leader in the locker room and an on-court big brother as the younger Booker and Towns ascend and mature through postseason battles.
