Malcolm Brogdon

To be fair, Malcolm Brogdon isn’t quite the caliber of the other guys on this list…yet, but there’s still a case to be made for him. Brogdon played a crucial role in the Milwaukee Bucks season and has since his Rookie of the Year season in 2016-17. He’s one of the type players who you can put into any rotation and he’d fit, for a multitude of reasons.

Brogdon would give Los Angeles a young combo-guard with a high ceiling. He could run the offense or be a secondary ball-handler at the shooting guard spot. He is one of the most lethal shooters in the NBA, becoming just the seventh player to join the 50/40/90 Club. This would make him someone perfect to play alongside a proven playmaker.

On defense, he is just as solid. His size and athleticism give him the ability to guard both guard positions and the small forward spot in the event of a switch on defense. Brogdon was even recognized for his defensive abilities by receiving some votes for the All-Defensive team.

Now Brogdon certainly isn’t enough to push the Clippers to championship caliber alone, but Los Angeles could actually afford to sign both him and a star player for him to play with. If Brogdon is just one of your top players you’re guaranteed to have a deep and talented team.
