As we stated previously, with two picks in the top 10, the Hawks are in a great position to really take a big swing with one of these two selections. And after taking a player that comes with a small level of risk, all things considered, taking Bol Bol at No. 10 would check the box of a risky pick.
Mostly, because of the foot injury that he’s coming off of – the same one that kept him off the floor for the majority of freshman season at Oregon. Still, Bol was extremely impressive during the small sample size.
Bol showed the ability to block shots at a high rate, hit the 3-point shot at an impressive rate and be every bit of the 7-foot-3 frame that he is. There are certainly concerns here, but there’s a chance Bol could be the NBA’s next unicorn.
