There’s no question that Nassir Little left a bit to be desired during his freshman season at North Carolina, but the measurables are all there for him. He has the look of a good NBA player and could develop into a star at the next level if given the right opportunity.
The Detroit Pistons, who don’t have any other way to improve the roster, need to take a big risk here at No. 15. Little would fit that mold. Perhaps he will be a better pro than college player? That sometimes is the case.
However, if Little is going to work out in the NBA, he’s going to require patience and the right tutelage. Would the Pistons offer those such things? Who knows.
