At 6-foot-5, Ty Jerome has great size for a guard but will be hard-pressed to be a first-round selection in the NBA Draft. There are questions about his athleticism and whether the lack of it will hinder him at the next level.

However, there are still certainly attributes to like about his game. For example, he’s a tough defender that never shied away. That could certainly help him find a spot on an NBA roster, certainly something that an organization like the Spurs could appreciate.

San Antonio could add some depth to their backcourt by taking Jerome, even if it does come with some risk at No. 29.
