The Washington Wizards are coming off a mess of a season, in which they lost John Wall for essentially a year and a half, and have a big decision to make on Bradley Beal sooner rather than later. At No. 9, you can make a case for the Wizards needing to hit a home run with this selection.

That’s why taking Sekou Doumbouya could be a sneaky great move for Washington. Doumbouya is a 6-foot-9 forward that has the ability to be dynamic on the offensive side of the ball and a force on the defensive end.

He’s still one of the rawest prospects in the top 10 but is the type of player that could blossom into a star if he falls in the right circumstance. With no real pressure to win, perhaps taking a player like Doumbouya would be hitting a soft reset on the Wizards.
