6. The Pascal Siakam Game (2019 NBA Finals, Game 1)
Even with the Toronto Raptors’ best player, Kawhi Leonard, struggling on offense in Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals, Canada’s team were still able to prevail and defeat the defending champs thanks to their second best player – and rising star – Pascal Siakam.
Siakam was legendary in his first ever Finals game, totalling 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists while also supplying a major spark on the defensive end as well. It’s also worth noting that the third year power forward was guarded by none other than Draymond Green – one of the most feared defenders on the planet.
Heading into this series, many had Pascal labelled as the x-factor for Toronto and it was clear from the tip that they were going to need him to have a chance in this series. Only time will tell if he can continue to step up and help lead the Raps to their first ever NBA championship.
