Phoenix Suns
It’s really no surprise to see the Phoenix Suns on this list. They don’t currently have an active true point guard on their roster, and should they not take one with the 6th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, they will be in the market for a starting caliber one this summer.
Rubio would be a nice fit next to this current Suns’ core too. Even though he is a little older than both Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, he could offer some much-needed experience to this team. At 28 years old, Rubio is still in his prime and could very much benefit from a change of scenery and scheme.
Phoenix could be that medicine. Rubio might not be the shooter that many modern-day point guards are but is a capable defender and one of the best passers in the NBA right now. Rubio on the Suns just makes sense for both parties and could be a good match if both are up for the challenge.
