NBA Rumors: 4 teams who should target Ricky Rubio in free agency

If the Chicago Bulls would be interested in addressing the poor play that has come from their point guard position over the last few years, and perhaps finally move on from Kris Dunn, it wouldn’t be all that surprising for this team to pursue a player like Ricky Rubio.
It wouldn’t be the most conventional of routes, but in the event that they don’t get their guy with the 7th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, there’s a good chance that Chicago sniffs around the point guard market in free agency this summer.
Rubio would run the offense, play good defense and score when necessary. The Bulls are a young squad with a bright future, and perhaps some experience would do this team well. Again, this wouldn’t be the most ideal of moves, but it would certainly help this team improve on a much quicker scale.

Ricky Rubio could be an ideal stopgap at point guard for many teams, and if enough of them are willing to pay the price tag, there’s no question his market will be vast this summer.
