6. Bojan Bogdanovic

Bojan Bogdanovic lands at the number six spot only because he doesn’t have the same name recognition as the other guys ahead of him. However, what he does have are multiple things that the Hawks could definitely use.

The first of these things is he fits in as the teams small forward. After Atlanta’s trade of Taurean Prince and acquisition of Allen Crabbe, Bogdanovic would be an upgrade at the small forward position. He averaged 18 points last season while shooting 54 percent from 2-point range, 43 percent from 3 and 80 percent from the free throw line. His 3-point shooting and ability to score from anywhere would fit into the Hawks wide open offense.

The second, and biggest thing he adds to Atlanta’s defense. Bogdanovic ranked 33rd in Defensive Win Shares last season. The highest ranked player for on the Hawks’ current roster is the newly acquired Crabbe, at 76th. Along with that, Atlanta finished dead last in team defense last season. There is literally nowhere to go but up for the Hawks.

If Atlanta misses out on other guys, Bogdanovic would be a great player, at a potential discount compared to the top guys on this list. If that were the case, the Hawks could look to sign another solid player, or just fill out the rest of the team with good role players. If this is the backup plan for the Hawks then the offseason looks to be promising.
