The Brooklyn Nets put together a very successful, very surprising 2018-19 season. Led by the team’s young core, the Nets look to improve their roster with the two max contract spots they have available this offseason. Here is a look at some key players who could make that happen.

The 2019 NBA offseason has been hyped up as the biggest in league history. With the injury to superstar Kevin Durant, the hype around this upcoming offseason took a slight hit, but the Brooklyn Nets still look to take full advantage of all the big names on the market this summer.

Brooklyn was a team who overachieved last season and gave their fans and the league a taste of what’s to come. With a talented core of Caris Levert, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Jarrett Allen, the team looks to be set up to succeed again next season. Star point guard D’Angelo Russell‘s future with the team is up in the air right now, but Brooklyn shouldn’t be worried at all.

With an estimated $67 million in cap space, the Nets have as many options as any team this offseason. They can afford two max salary players and can take their young team of the future to title contention status in the matter of a few weeks.

Here are seven free agents the Nets should look at if they want to take the team to the next level next season.
