In our latest NBA Mock Draft, Anthony Davis gets traded to the Los Angeles Lakers and Bol Bol makes a jump up the draft board
Now that the 2018-19 NBA season is officially in the books – with the Toronto Raptors dethroning the Golden State Warriors en route to their first NBA Championship in franchise history – the 2019 NBA Draft is now the next big domino to fall before what many expect to be a chaotic offseason and free agency period.
But it will likely get off to a rocking start at the draft. With less than a week until the 2019 NBA Draft, let’s take a look at our latest NBA Mock Draft.
With the first pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans will select Zion Williamson. This should come as no surprise, and nothing will likely change between now and Draft day. However, the Pelicans did just trade Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Here’s the outline:
Lakers get: Anthony Davis
Pelicans get: Lakers’ 4th pick, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and two other first round picks
That means the Pelicans will have one more top 10 pick coming up in the draft. In the end, the Lakers get their man in Anthony Davis and the Pelicans get plenty of assets.
