With the 2019 NBA Draft upon us, let’s explore five bold predictions for what is expected to be an eventful night

The 2019 NBA Draft is finally here, and we could be in for an explosive night in terms of the transaction. While we know Zion Williamson and Ja Morant will be the top two picks, we don’t really know much after that.

There are a number of different ways that the night could go, and here are five bold predictions for draft night. Beginning with another big-name being traded.

Chris Paul will be traded

There has been much made about the relationship between Chris Paul and James Harden, and about how it might be at the point of no return. However, I simply don’t believe it’s as bad as the recent reports have made it out to seem. At the same time, I also don’t believe that everything is perfectly fine.

It’s probably somewhere in the middle, but I do believe the Houston Rockets would jump at the opportunity to move Paul in an attempt to improve the team. There’s no question that Daryl Morey will attempt to improve this roster, and it will come at the expense of Paul.

Buckle up, because we could be on the verge of a historic NBA Draft night. And it will begin with Paul being traded, the third big-name moved in the matter of a week.
