Bol Bol will be drafted in the lottery
In an alternate universe, in which he doesn’t get injured only a few games into his freshman season at Oregon, Bol Bol is expected to be taken with one of the top 5 picks in the 2019 NBA Draft.
However, heading into Thursday night, we currently don’t live in that universe. Therefore, it would be quite shocking to see Bol drafted anywhere in the top 20. But, let it be written, that I’m calling it right now – Bol will be drafted in the lottery. That means he’ll be taken in the top 14 picks.
Some team out there is going to take a stab in the dark and take a chance on the immensely talented 7-footer. Bol is a lethal 3-point shooter and an equally elite shot-blocker. The talent is there, and if he’s healthy he could end up being special.
