Filling out our 2019 NBA offseason superlatives as free agency quickly approaches

The NBA never sleeps. The Anthony Davis trade proved that, and it gave us a nice reminder that, as much as we think free agency begins in July, teams can start making moves as soon as their seasons are done.

With that, every year there are a few stories that always happen. A big star moves to a new city, or he stays put, there are weird signings and complete steals. We can think of numerous examples of each of these over the years, and with the immense pool of talent in this year’s free agency, there’s a good chance that 2019 will be no different.

With that, I’m going to go through and predict a few NBA superlatives ahead of this year’s free agency period.
