LeBron and AD getting along
To be clear, this is the biggest reach on this list. That being said, there is still a reason this should be discussed.
James has had a very successful track record of teaming up with other all-stars and making it to the NBA Finals, which had to play a big part in Davis wanting to join him in Los Angeles. That being said, James has just as much of a track record of being difficult to play with. Even for fellow all-stars. If things go well for the Lakers then there is likely nothing to worry about here. However, if things play out more like last season, don’t put it past James to decide the experiment failed already.
On the flip side, last season opened the league’s eyes to the potential true colors of Davis. While it’s understandable to want to put yourself in a better situation to win, Davis went about it in a way that should make Lakers fans a little wary to just how things might go if the team doesn’t click.
Again, there is likely nothing to worry about here, but when putting two of the best players in the world on the same team there is always a chance of a power struggle for ownership of the team on the court.
