After trading down from the 6th pick, the Suns took Cameron Johnson, the senior forward out of UNC, with the 11th pick of the draft.

A little older, but Cameron Johnson is a tall wing who is an excellent floor spacer, seen as the best shooter in the draft. After trading TJ Warren, Johnson will probably get some of his minutes and take his role of the floor spacer alongside Booker and Ayton. A good wingspan, but Cameron Johnson needs to be more physical on both sides of the ball. The ceiling is similar to sliding into Warren’s role on the Suns.

He could be a floor spacer on a team with a ball dominant star. The floor for Johnson is similar to a lengthier Korver, a bench guy who spaces the floor and can shoot 3-pointers with some consistency.

NBA comparison: TJ Warren

Warren may be a little stronger defensively, and stronger in general, but the shooting ability is similar, and he will play a very similar role as Warren on any team that Johnson plays. Almost the same wingspan and body measurements, Johnson will space the floor, but will need to get stronger to be the 2-way player imagined.
