Sacramento Kings – Allow the core to break out

With the longest active playoff drought in the entire league, the Sacramento Kings are due for some postseason presence real soon. And that playoff berth may just be inches away as the team was 9th in the West.

The Kings have one of the most promising groups of players that include Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley III, Willy Cauley-Stein, and Most Improved Player candidate De’Aaron Fox. The West is going to be weaker than it has been in recent years next season and the Kings have the ability to take advantage of the decline.

With so much potential on the roster, the Kings are due for one of their stars to have a break out year. They just need the right guidance and a push in the proper direction. Hopefully, the Kings know what to do to get them there and hopefully, it’ll be enough to end the 14-year-long drought of no playoff contention.
