Houston Rockets – Come to terms

Let’s face it. Houston had it’s best possible chance to take down the always dominant Warriors this past postseason and they didn’t get the job done. Now, the Houston Rockets are left in a tight situation on where to go from here.

The Warriors are not going to be nearly as good as they have been in recent years, so it might not be a bad idea to run it back one more time and see if they can come out on top. But with that said, other Western Conference teams are getting stronger and also taking advantage of Golden State’s decline.

The Lakers, Thunder, and Nuggets are all going to be in the running and could all very well be Houston’s next unstoppable foe. The Rockets’ front office has already discussed completely dismantling the team and starting from scratch, but with the talent they have on their team it may be foolish to throw that all away and make it a waste of a player like Harden’s prime.

The Rockets are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Acquiring another star to help empower the team may be what they need, but who knows if they’ll even be able to grab a free agent this offseason.
