Exploring five offseason moves that would make the Houston Rockets legit NBA Championship contenders during the 2019-20 season

The Houston Rockets have been one of the league’s more progressive teams in recent years, ever since Daryl Morey took the helm in 2007. But after falling short of an NBA Finals appearance in each of the last two seasons, with back-to-back crushing losses at the hands of the Golden State Warriors, there’s no question that there needs to be improvement this offseason.

There have already been musings that Morey is open to trading anyone that isn’t named James Harden on the roster, and even whispers that Chris Paul asked to be traded. Here are three moves that would make the Houston Rockets the favorites to win the 2020 NBA Championship.
