NBA: Predicting the landing spots for the top 15 free agents
Tobias Harris (UFA)
Although Tobias Harris has been traded four times throughout his eight-year career, the do-it-all wing has gotten better each year. While playing for the Clippers and Sixers last year, Harris put up 20 points and seven rebounds a night, while knocking down 39.7 percent of his shots behind the arc. He will only turn 27 in July, so he may just be reaching his prime and could continue to improve.
His versatility on the floor as a 3 or 4 is one of many reasons why his interest is so high; reportedly as many as nine teams are pursuing the services of the Tennessee product. This includes Brooklyn, Dallas, Denver, Memphis, Minnesota, New Orleans, Sacramento, and even the Clippers if they were to miss out on Kawhi Leonard.
Despite these rumors, it’s looking highly likely that he will remain a Sixer, as another impending free agent in Philadelphia might just be leaving town and be heading southwest via a sign and trade (more on that shortly).
