Khris Middleton (UFA)

Middleton served as a perfect co-star for the Bucks last season, averaging 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, whilst also being instrumental in the team’s success as another floor-spacer for Giannis Antetokounmpo. And similarly to Malcolm Brogdon, the 6-foot-8 forward is a perfect fit in today’s NBA; he can shoot efficiently and play some serviceable, if not good defense.

There’s not much to debate here really. Having already opted out of his $13.1 million player option, Middleton is bound to be seeking a max contract, and even though he may not be worth that much, that’s what it’ll take for the Bucks to retain him. And although teams like the Mavs and Knicks may want to acquire his services, it’s looking highly unlikely that he leaves Milwaukee.

The Bucks and Middleton are reportedly already working towards a new deal, after all.

Verdict: Khris Middleton re-signs with the Bucks.
