With the NBA Draft and free agency in the books, we take a closer look at how every team performed during the 2019 offseason

Looking back, we could remember the 2019 NBA offseason as one that changed the landscape of the league for the better. As it currently stands, there’s no one team with more than two clear (healthy) all-stars on their roster and heading into 2019-20, you can make the case for 6-8 teams that could win the NBA Championship.

I’m not sure the last time that’s been the case in the NBA. In fact, it probably hasn’t been the case since 2007. With that said, there’s growing excitement around the league in anticipation for the upcoming season.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, with NBA free agency pretty much in the books, this is the perfect time to take a look back at the summer that was. Which teams took big steps forward? Which teams took steps back?

We explore all that and more as we grade every NBA team’s offseason thus far, taking into account both the draft and free agency.
