New York Knicks

Key additions: Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Elfrid Payton

Key subtractions: Emmanuel Mudiay

The New York Knicks entered the NBA offseason with huge expectations, and their eyes set on landing Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. And while the dynamic duo did elect to make the move to New York, they didn’t pick the Knicks.

After losing out on the top free agents, New York pivoted to signing young players to short-term deals and will now place their hopes on landing a big-name free agent in 2021. Despite not doing anything dumb this summer, I can’t give the Knicks a passing grade.

They thought they were exiting the summer with KD and Kyrie. Instead, they overpaid for Randle and signed four power forwards.
