Many expected the Orlando Magic to make a misstep this summer, as they always have. However, they actually remained under the radar and didn’t do anything dumb.
While the Magic did well in bringing back the team that led them back to the playoffs, they just invested big money in a big man in a league where they are slowly – but surely – becoming extinct. Not great. Still, the Magic will be interesting if nothing else.
Hey, an NBA summer where the Magic weren’t the laughing stock of the rest of the league. Something different. Kudos to Orlando.
