Boston Celtics

Key additions: Kemba Walker, Enes Kanter, Romeo Langford, Carsen Edwards

Key subtractions: Kyrie Irving, Al Horford

The Boston Celtics may have lost Kyrie Irving and Al Horford in free agency, but they did rebound nicely by adding Kemba Walker to replace the former. Even though Kemba might not be as dynamic as Kyrie, he could end up being a better all-around player for the Celtics moving forward.

Kyrie clearly didn’t like being in Boston, and he wasn’t a great fit on the roster. Kemba could be almost the exact opposite, and the Celtics could be better for it.

There are still some big questions that the Celtics have to answer when it comes to the defensive side of the ball, but there’s a growing belief that Boston could be a better team this upcoming year – without Kyrie – than they were last year with him.

Grade: B-
