Charlotte Hornets
Key additions: Terry Rozier, PJ Washington
Key subtractions: Kemba Walker, Frank Kaminsky, Tony Parker
To say the Charlotte Hornets had a tough summer would be an understatement. In fact, they might’ve had an offseason that sets back this franchise back another half-decade. After electing not to pay Kemba Walker, they inked Terry Rozier to an insane contract.
The Hornets will be paying Rozier $20 million over the next three seasons, something that can’t be sold to a fan base that they just saw management say bye to their franchise player. I’m not sure what the Hornets are exactly doing, but they better find a new plan soon.
Charlotte is set to have a rough 2019-20, and I’m not really sure what’s next for Michael Jordan and company.
