4. Golden State Warriors

2017-18 record: 57-25

Key additions:

D’Angelo Russell, Willie Cauley-Stein, Shabazz Napier, Alec Burks

Key subtractions:

Kevin Durant, Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, DeMarcus Cousins, Quinn Cook

The five-time defending Western Conference champions are one of the teams that suffered the most in the 2019 NBA offseason. The Golden State Warriors lost Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, and DeMarcus Cousins this summer – not to mention most of Klay Thompson next season, due to injury.

The Warriors lost of arguably the best player in the entire NBA, which will no doubt change the outlook for the Warriors this season. Golden State will not be the overwhelming favorites to emerge from the Western Conference for the first time in four years.

Golden State did manage to acquire D’Angelo Russell, however, which will help the team as they recover from their myriad of losses.
