By Kyle Crabbe
2. Charlotte Hornets
2017-18 record: 39-43
Key additions:
Terry Rozier, PJ Washington
Key subtractions:
Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lamb, Frank Kaminsky
The Charlotte Hornets have found themselves at the top of teams that “lost” the NBA offseason. coming off a season in which they were a borderline playoff team, the Hornets might be entering the season as the worst team in the league.
The loss of Kemba Walker can’t be understated, and he was a key part of this entire Hornets franchise. Walker came into his own as a member of the Hornets and was in the conversation for being a top 5 point guard in the league.
In his place, the Hornets did snag Terry Rozier from the Celtics, but there’s no question that the Hornets have taken a big step back this summer.
