The Bucks will win the NBA Finals

The Milwaukee Bucks fell short of clinching their first NBA Finals berth since 1974. Even though they fell short at the hands of destiny – or Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors – you can’t help but think that the Bucks had a disappointing finish to their season, that was otherwise a roaring and historic success for the franchise.

While losing Malcolm Brogdon will certainly hurt the team’s depth, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton will keep the Bucks atop the Eastern Conference. They will be the favorites to represent the East in the Finals, especially after Kawhi elected to move West, but will still have stiff competition.

Assuming that Milwaukee has a similar type season as a year ago, there’s a good chance that the Bucks will break through and make a return to the Finals. And once they’re there, anything can happen. And are you willing to bet against Giannis, who will somehow – someway – be better this season than he was last year?

In the NBA, there are always steps towards winning a title. The Bucks learned that the hard way this past season. But after taking in those growing pains, 2019-20 could be lining up as the year of the Bucks. And considering they’ll only have to go through one Western Conference foe, the Bucks will have as good of a chance as any to break through and win an NBA Championship this season.
