7. Coby White, Chicago Bulls

Chicago fans could not have been happy when the Bulls, who had the 4th best odds to win the lottery, dropped to the 7th pick. Hopefully, they felt a little better when Coby White fell in their laps with that pick.

The Bulls have the beginnings of a strong young core now, pairing White with Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen. While those two have already shown their potential to be productive players at a young age, it is up to White now to reach his potential.

Offensively, there isn’t much that White doesn’t have the ability to do. The main cog in the North Carolina offense, White showed the ability to create his own shot at all three levels and create for his teammates.

If he can continue to space the floor at the NBA level, White will be able to give the Bulls a dimension their offense was lacking last season. Beyond his scoring ability, White’s star potential can be unlocked with the development of his playmaking.

The ball will be in his hands a lot this season, it’ll be his job to be efficient and remember that he has teammates who can also score.

Stat Projections: 11.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 44% FG, 35% 3PT
