Depth

Moving into our fourth category we will be comparing the roster depth of each team heading into next season. The depth charts for each team heading into 2019-2020 season are as follows:

Milwaukee Bucks projected 2019-20 depth chart:

PG: Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, Frank Mason (2-way contract)

SG: Khris Middleton, Kyle Korver, Donte DiVencenzo, Sterling Brown

SF: Wesley Matthews, Pat Connaughton, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Bonzie Colson

PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ersan Ilyasova, DJ Wilson, Dragan Bender

C: Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez, Jon Leuer

Philadelphia 76ers projected 2019-20 depth chart:

PG: Ben Simmons, Trey Burke, Raul Neto, Shake Milton

SG: Josh Richardson, Furkan Korkmaz, Zhaire Smith

SF: Tobias Harris, James Ennis, Jonathon Simmons

PF: Al Horford, Mike Scott, Jonah Bolden

C: Joel Embiid, Kyle O’Quinn

Comparing the depth charts of both teams it is clear that the Bucks seem to be more complete in each position. For instance, the Bucks have at least three players in every position, not to mention each player after their starting five is a quality piece who fit the system the Bucks are trying to run.

Whereas the Sixers seem very top-heavy as they have a few star players but after that, the roster really doesn’t have any significant role player on it. Therefore, the point for this round goes to Bucks as they clearly have the more complete roster at this time.
