After another wild offseason, the NBA’s Eastern Conference is set for a re-shuffle. With so much talent on the move, who will finish atop the standings?

Alright, it’s official – the NBA is a 12-month-a-year, 24-hours-a-day rollercoaster of a league. After one of the wildest offseasons in the history of the league, and maybe the history of professional sports, it’s time to sit back and digest everything that’s happened over the last month.

With such a drastic redistribution of talent across the NBA, it feels like the title race is wide open for the first time in years. That evenness is particularly evident in the Eastern Conference, as the NBA champion Toronto Raptors saw Kawhi Leonard flee to LA and the Milwaukee Bucks were forced to largely stand pat.

With plenty of re-shuffling among the chasing pack, we’ll be re-seeding the Eastern Conference based on the offseason action. The following rankings are a prediction of how the East’s standing will look at the end of the regular season, with every team ordered and split into tiers.
