Orlando Magic: Will Markelle Fultz get his career back on track?

After a rocky start to his NBA career, Markelle Fultz has a chance at a fresh start with the Orlando Magic

It wasn’t all that long ago when Markelle Fultz came into the NBA after being selected No. 1 overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. In an already loaded draft class, the star guard from Washington State rose above the rest of the field, drawing comparisons to the likes of James Harden, Dwyane Wade, and Manu Ginobili. Not bad company, to say the least.

The Sixers were so sold on Fultz that they traded up for their man at No. 1. Philly wanted to ensure that they would get “their” guy, the man that they hoped would be the final piece of the puzzle for the franchise.

Selecting Fultz also seemed to signify the end of “The Process” for Philly, who had taken Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid in the prior two drafts. It seemed to be the perfect situation for him to learn, grow and develop into the superstar many of us were expecting him to become.

But that’s when things began to go downhill for the highly touted point guard prospect…
