Power Forward: Grant Williams, Boston Celtics
A surprise inclusion to the team, Grant Williams is a late first-rounder that will make other teams pay for missing out on him. Williams fits in perfectly with a new Boston Celtics team whether it’s off the bench or in the power forward position. His contribution this upcoming season will be very impactful as he can affect any area on the floor.
Although Williams is not super tall at 6-foot-7 he is very physical. He is like Draymond Green without being super ball-dominant, could be like San Antonio Spurs‘ Boris Diaw, and gives flashes of being a poor mans Charles Barkley.
Williams is coming into a franchise used to success and is very stable from all the way at the top. Coach Brad Stevens will know how to utilize Williams great all-around game. Williams is coming from two successful years of the revival of the Tennessee Volunteers basketball program. In games against top programs, he held his own.
