NBA: Getting to know every team’s two-way contract players
Sacramento Kings/Stockton Kings
Wenyen Gabriel: As a sophomore at Kentucky, Wenyen Gabriel averaged seven points and five rebounds per game. He went undrafted in 2018 and played with the Stockton Kings last season where he averaged 10 points and seven rebounds per contest. Gabriel was one of my favorite guys to watch in Vegas this summer. He’s athletic, plays hard and can hit 3-pointers. What team can’t find room for a guy like that?
Kyle Guy: Kyle Guy varied from looking extremely impressive at times in Vegas to totally being taken out of the game at others. I would not expect to see him play major minutes at the NBA level this season. Guy is a 6-foot-2 guard that was drafted in the second round in 2019.
San Antonio Spurs/Austin Spurs
Drew Eubanks: Drew Eubanks was undrafted in 2018, but already has some NBA experience under his belt. He appeared in 23 games with the Spurs last season. He’s a hard worker and knows what it takes to earn a spot on San Antonio’s roster.
Quinndary Weatherspoon: As a prototypical Gregg Popovich guy, Quinndary Weatherspoon is an athletic guard who could find his way to an NBA roster one day. However, he struggled to prove that during a limited sample size during Summer League. Weatherspoon was a second-round pick out of Mississippi State, where he averaged 18 points and four rebounds per game during his senior season.

Utah Jazz/Salt Lake City Stars
Jarrell Brantley: A 6-foot-7 small forward who was drafted in the second round (20th) out of Charleston in 2019, Jarrell Brantley averaged 19.4 points and eight rebounds as a senior in college.
Justin Wright-Foreman: JWF was drafted in the second-round out of Hofstra in 2019 after averaged 27 points and four rebounds during his senior season. During NBA Summer League, JWF struggled against fellow NBA competition.
Washington Wizards/Capital City Go-Go
Garrison Mathews: As a 6-foot-7 shooting guard out of Lipscomb, Garrison Mathews went undrafted in 2019. He averaged 21 points and six rebounds per game during his senior year in college. With his size and scoring ability, Mathews will have a shot to find a full-time job in the league.
